Below are the directions for your women's studies project on the suffrage movement in the US and abroad. Please make sure that you ask any questions you might have.
For each unit in Women's Studies, you will be creating a volume for your own magazine. You need to create a name for your magazine and number and label each issue. Remember that it is a magazine and therefore should be colorful, well labeled and credit must be given where credit is due.
You will create a magazine completing the following criteria:
1. A magazine style cover page
2. Table of contents
3. Biographies of three women involved in the US suffrage movement
4. Biographies of three women inovlved in the suffrage movement in other countries (could be past or present)
5. Annotated timeline with 20 events in women's suffrage world wide (annotated meaning that you explain each item for it's importance) last event must be modern
6. A one page response to any of the readings that we did in class
7. A one page response to a current event related women's suffrage or political rights
8. Top Ten Stars of the Suffrage Movement (list and short blurb on why)
9. Works Cited page with a minimum of ten sources (no Wiki!!!!)
